On May 7, Haaeretz’ headline reads, “Israel Braces for Iran Missile Attack From Syria Over Last Month’s Deadly Strike.”
What this headline does, is get the reader to expect one thing, while the complete opposite is in the works. For three days after the above May 7 headline, Israel strikes Iranian missiles in Syria, with everybody expecting the aggression to come from Iran.
It gives Israel the perfect excuse. As reported in a previous article, Israel claimed that “Iran is determined to take revenge for the April 9 airstrike on Syria’s T4 airbase, which killed seven Iranian military advisers and members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. Iran blames Israel for this attack.”
All of this based on no evidence but it was out there in the media and so in some way justifies Israel’s unprovoked preemptive strike. The claim that Iran blames Israel for the deaths of its military advisers is irrelevant, as it offers no proof of any planned military attacks Iran may have had for Israel.
The only attacks that have hitherto taken place between the nations, is those of Israel upon Iran. But what has already been set up by the media is that: Iran had it coming.
