18 year old Eddie Nketiah scores 15 seconds into his domestic debut for Arsenal, to draw his side level with a stubborn Norwich side at the Emirates Stadium. Brought on with a few minutes of the 90 to play by the Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. From the subsequent Theo Walcott corner, Nketiah scored with his first touch.

It would have been a sensational debut, had Nketiah done nothing more in the game. But with Arsenal’s next corner in the 96th minute, Nketiah rose highest to meet Walcott’s ball to head the game winner.

The Arsenal fans at the Emirates, immediately took to the youngster, with shouts of Eddie! Eddie! Eddie! heard around the ground, every time he touched the ball. He did have a few more chances for the hat-trick, but two goals were enough to rescue Arsenal from an upset at the hands of Norwich City.

Perhaps Manager Arsene Wenger has unearthed yet another gem. In time, we’ll see if Nketiah is the real deal.
